what does the book title mean ,english at work is prally like a pun.

on one hand

if you say you are at work it means that you are doing a job or an activity .something can  also be said at work .for example , my computer has been at work on this promblem for three day .can you figure out what is meant by english at work now?

of vourse , as abook tithe,it is the first sense that is uused here ,the second sense is however also welcome.for ti does more good than harm.we study english in order to make it work for us don't we ?
