classification of English speech sounds

Vowels:no friction,lno contact of ips or tongue's movement

Consnants:manner or place of articulation.

Note:The essential difference between these two classes is that the former meet no obstruction but the latter is somehow obstructed.

Stops/plosives;fricatives;affricates;literal;nasals;glides(semiovowels)

Bilabial;labiodental;dental;alveolar;palatal;velar;glottal

Criteria :tongue;lips开合度,所有的后元音都是圆唇音除r;length

Phonology:the study of patterns of speech sounds

Phones:a phonetic unit,不辨别意义，speech sounds,transcription

Phoneme:phononogical unit,辨别意义。

Allophones

Phonemic contrast；区别意义，在不同的语音环境。

Complementary distribution；同一语音不区别意义，在不同的语音环境。

最小对立对；两个因素相同，

音位规则：顺序，同化，消除。

超音节：重音（单词和句子），重音不同词性不同；tone；intonation一般是降调，问问题是rising tone,rise-falling tone.

语调的语法功能：句群停顿；句子重音；个人态度如陈述，建议或者疑问。

我是Chuck，在此对第一个编辑者的笔记指出一点问题：“Consnants:manner or place of articulation.”姑且不说辅音的单词拼错，关键是你写的是辅音的分类法不是辅音的定义，请你仔细参考张老师的视频再看一次，你元音明明写的是定义，辅音却写的是两大辅音的分类法，令观者产生歧义。真正的辅音应该定义为 with contact of lips or tongue, 其实这门学科的很多笔记都不是太严谨， 碰巧是本人现在的主修专业，所以为了学术严谨不得不指出。本人没有别的意思，希望和所有学习语言学的朋友一起探讨交流
